An Announcement
Hello, everyone! I have come up with some content that I think you will all enjoy during the following weeks.
Starting this weekend, I will be updating fairly regularly on a weekly basis with a group of series.
On this weekend, I will do a special post, talking about how I fell in love with movies in the first place, and what led me to want to devote my time to talking about them. It's an idea I have wanted to do for quite a while, and I figure this would be the perfect opportunity.
Next, I am planning to bring over a series I did for a different site. In the past, I have occasionally written for a nostalgia themed-site called Retro Junk. At one point I did a series of articles that I greatly enjoyed where I looked back at the Summer Movies I watched year-by-year during the 90s. The reason why I picked that decade was that it was the first full decade of me going to movies regularly. From 1990 when I turned 13 that summer, to 99 when I was 22, I saw many films. The purpose of the articles was to have me revisit those films that I watched, reflect on what I thought of them back then, and compare them with my thoughts now.
I had a lot of fun with that series, but unfortunately, few if any of my readers here got to see them. Starting next week, that will change. I am going to be publishing the original articles here, all 10 of them, each one covering a Summer Movie Season from the 90s. My plan is to upload two of them each week.
Not only that, but I am hoping to continue with a series I started over on that site, but never got to finish. When I am done with that series, I will begin uploading articles on the Fall and Holiday Movies of the 90s. This is a series that I began on the same site, but stopped after covering the movies I saw during the Fall and Holiday Movie Season of 1993. I will be posting the articles for 1990 to 1993 here, again twice a week. Then, my plan is to start where I left off by covering the movies of 94 to 99.
So, there will be some content here coming shortly, and I hope you will join me, and share your own personal memories from the years that I will be covering.
